You need words. I’ve got some.
Let’s get started!
To work together most effectively, we’ll need to have a conversation to discuss exactly what you’re looking for in the way of copywriting or other services.
By gaining an understanding of the scope, requirements, and estimated budget, I can accurately provide you with a quote for the project.
Most projects will be quoted at the project level, however, some types of work lend themselves to other rate structures, such as hourly or per word or page.
If you haven’t already, you may wish to learn more about my background and how you can benefit from it here.
At a minimum, please be prepared with answers to the following questions to help me envision what you’re requesting:
- What do you need written?
Web copy, brochure, case study, newsletter? See more pieces here
- What’s the size?
Number of pages, panels, screens, or words
- Do you require other non-writing services?
WordPress website creation or make-over, creative concepting (brainstorming), basic graphic design, editing? See more services here
- Who is the primary audience (be specific)?
Craft an ideal client “persona” or two!
- What is the intended purpose of the work?
To sell, persuade, get sign-ups/registrants, inform, educate, entertain?
- When is the work needed to be done by?
Due date, deadline, turn-around?
- What is the approximate budget for the work?

“Linda Tenney is one of the finest and most detail-oriented people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From our initial meeting, I knew that Linda had that intangible quality that makes some people excel in whatever they choose to do. Whatever task or role Linda undertakes, she sets out to fully understand the needs, plans solutions, and implements them. One of her most impressive qualities is her ability to take on new roles and new challenges, meet them head on, and deliver solutions that shine.” ~ Andrew Sutton, Director of User Experience at SavvyCard
